FONC Open Day

FONC's Open Day in May is our biggest event of the year.

The next FONC Open Day is 18th May 2013, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tours, Cakes, Food and more. We run tours of the cemetery, visits to the chapel and crypt - not usually open - guidance on family history, plus delicious home made food and drinks at our café.

Stalls and Attractions. There are many stalls run by local groups and other cemetery friends. Please contact us if you would like to book a stall for your group. We will need help with our many stalls, tours and of course setting up and packing away. All help gratefully received!

The Bug Hunt Special attractions for the young ones include the famous Bug Hunt with Mr. 'Bugman' Jones, Face Painting and Badge Making.

Mausoleum Art Exhibition. See larger image below. In 2011 there was:

An exhibition of public art in the mausoleum curated by Jolanta Jagiello, featuring works by Lorraine Clarke, Mike Hoath, Nick Baelz, Sara Scott, Jill Rock, Debora Mo, Belinda Opie, Jolanta Jagiello and Desiree Ickerodt.

Choir in the Chapel. The choir entertained us in the Chapel.

A quiet interlude away from it all. And for once our Open Day didn't clash with the FA Cup Final.
